I am a caring and empathetic psychologist who works with individual adults. I love supporting clients who recognize a need for change in their lives. I offer a warm and inviting space to explore challenges you are facing and work with your strengths to develop new ways of coping and interacting with others. I have been described as a caring, but no-nonsense therapist, so you can trust I will be clear and direct with you. I also find the use of humour to be very helpful and healing.
I have experience working with a variety of mental health issues including trauma, mood concerns, life transitions, relationship issues, and self-esteem. I am also experienced in working with those who have been in conflict with the law and those who are mandated to treatment.
I enjoy learning new ways of supporting clients and feel a thrill of joy each time a client experiences a new level of self-awareness. My job is a very rewarding one, and I am privileged to be able to join people in their journey through change. Outside of my work, I am kept busy with my family (inlcuding my children and dog), but I like to find time for reading or indulging in several hobbies.
